THE WALVOORT "CASTLE"... "Huis Wallvoord, by Bredvoord 13.August.1743." This is what the Walvoort Castle looked like in 1743. As you can see, even at this early date, it was starting to deteriorate. This is the earliest known drawing of what it looked like.
